We were honoured to participate in the second edition of Biomethane Day Ireland, where our COO presented a case study on our Little Island Biomethane Plant that is currently under construction, highlighting the development journey of this project and its role in supporting Ireland’s energy transition.
The event brought together key stakeholders from across the biomethane sector, including industry representatives, policymakers, and investors, to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of renewable gas in Ireland.
The presence of Ireland’s Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment, Darragh O’Brien, highlighted the growing importance of biomethane in Ireland’s future energy mix. A key topic throughout the day was the Renewable Heat Obligation (RHO) and its role in providing the policy framework needed to support investment and accelerate the development of the sector.
We are proud to have shared the experience of the Little Island Biogas Plant and contributed to this important conversation on the future of sustainable energy in Ireland.
